TruckMaster CDL Training is a Veteran-owned commercial driver school based in Apopka, Florida, proudly serving Orlando and all of Central Florida. We're registered with the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, licensed under the Florida Department of Education, and affiliated with the Florida Safety Council.
From your first day on the range to test day, our focus is hands-on: real trucks, real coaching, and the professional habits that keep drivers safe for an entire career. We keep classes personal so every student gets the attention they deserve.
Through our partnerships with Empower All Inc., Operation New Hope, and First Step Staffing, we also support re-entry and workforce-development students who are building a brand-new future behind the wheel. We believe in Teaching, Training, and Mentoring — every student, every class.
Meet The Founder
Byron “Truck” Simpson
A proud U.S. Army Veteran known to everyone simply as “Truck,” Byron Simpson brings more than 30 years of CDL training experience that began during his Military service. He founded TruckMaster on the belief that the right training changes lives.
Byron personally sets the standard for the safety, discipline, and accountability that define every TruckMaster class — and he believes in Teaching, Training, and Mentoring each student all the way to test day and beyond.
